A Little About Me:

My name is Susan Hawthorne and I 'd like to welcome you to my little website!
Living near the edge of the Chesapeake Bay, I'm used to having sand in my shoes! I'm also used to seeing the beautiful, golden sunsets, listening to the sound of the surf on the shore, watching the seagulls and pelicans take flight, and  the beautiful blue waters sparkle in the sunlight. This is my inspiration, this is my art.
I  met the man of my dreams, my wonderful husband of 9 years, a few years ago. He and I are now empty nesters, our children grown and away from home - and we have our first grandchild on the way! I have turned my energies to creating my little pretties:Hand-crafted beaded jewelry of the sort I would like but never seemed to be able to find in the stores, and also hand-made glycerin soaps in pretty colors and fragrances that are gentle and mild to the skin and little stories of fiction to amaze, or at least entertain, you. :) 
I hope to share these things with you and hope that you enjoy them as much as I do. :)
